Data Processing Agreement (DPA / AAV)
If you use our platform in an educational or institutional context, you may need a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) according to Art. 28 GDPR (German: Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag – AAV).

Why only a German version?
Our service is currently primarily offered to organizations in Germany and therefore the legally binding version of the agreement is available in German only.
Can I use the German version if my organization operates in another country?
Yes. Within the European Union, German-language DPAs are generally accepted, especially if both parties agree to the contract language. However, if your organization requires an English version for internal review, you may create an unofficial translation for reference, but the German version remains the legally binding document.
