Managing Email Notifications

Lumi Cloud runs certain tasks — like importing H5P files or generating SCORM exports — in the background. Because these jobs can take a while, you can opt in to receive an email when they finish so you don't have to wait and watch.

Where to find Notification Settings

Go to Account → Notifications (via your user menu in the top-right corner).

Available Notifications

Both notifications are enabled by default.

H5P import finished

Sends you an email when an H5P file import job completes. This is useful when uploading large .h5p packages, which are processed asynchronously.

SCORM export finished

Sends you an email when a SCORM export is ready to download. SCORM exports can take several minutes depending on the size of the content, so this notification lets you step away and return when the file is ready.

Changing Your Preferences

  1. Toggle the switches next to the notifications you want to enable or disable.

  2. Click Save changes.

Your preferences are saved to your account and apply across all devices and sessions. Changes take effect immediately for jobs that start after saving.

Notes

  • These settings only control email notifications. In-app status indicators for background jobs are not affected.

  • Notifications are sent to the email address associated with your Lumi Cloud account.

  • Each toggle is independent — you can enable one without the other.
