Missing Content in the Content Browser

In some cases, content may not appear in the content browser even though it still exists in your workspace. This can be confusing, but the content is not lost—it is simply not visible in the current view.

How to find and restore missing content

Follow these steps to locate and fix the issue.

1. Check your workspace

Make sure you are in the correct workspace where the content was originally created or stored.

2. Use the search function

  • Go to the search field in the content browser

  • Type in the name of the missing content

  • Look through the search results

3. Select and cut the content

Once you find the content:

  • Select the content item

  • Use the cut action

4. Navigate to the desired folder

  • Clear the search field

  • Browse to the folder where the content should be located

5. Paste the content

  • Paste the content into the selected folder

Result

After pasting, the content will now appear in the correct folder and should remain visible there in the future.

Tips

  • Always double-check the workspace before searching

  • Use clear and consistent naming to make content easier to find

  • If content frequently goes missing, review your folder structure and organization
